Hamilton Roofing, Inc was established in 1968 by Kenis Hamilton in Detroit, Michigan and maintained steady growth in size & revenue throughout the years.In 1983 Hamilton Roofing branched out to the space coast of Florida by obtaining its first contract at PAFB for $423,000.before this contract was completed we were awarded a $750,000 contract at Cape Canaveral Air Station.These two contracts began the growth of Hamilton Roofing in Malabar, FL. In 2000 Kenis Hamilton retired and Hamilton Roofing was purchased by Tony Hamilton, his son, and Steve Lasky Sr.Since then we have continued the quality work ethic that Kenis Hamilton had done throughout the many years.Tony Hamilton has over 25 years of roofing experience and Steve Lasky has over 30 years of roofing experience. Their combined experience of over 55 years brings knowledge to tackle any problem with the best solution.We have a client base that has us working in Georgia, South Carolina and Florida on a steady basis.We have also performed work on Ascension Island and Antigua for the Air Force. Hamilton Roofing has a considerable investment in modern business technology, and we maintain a full complement of computers, software, and connectivity, all of which allows us to know, at all times, what the status of any given project is, and provide instant communication between the field and the office.We are continually upgrading our software to be more efficient. Regarding safety, Hamilton Roofing takes pride in providing a safe work environment for all employees, and through our safety program, in conjunction with our insurance carrier, we are constantly vigilant for, and cause harm to those outside our organization, or which would cause any type of property damage.We are proud of the fact that we have not had any lost time accidents since the purchase of Hamilton Roofing in 2000.we know that the key to keeping and maintaining a low overhead with workers comp rates being so high is to maintain a good safety program.A safety class is given to each employee a minimum of twice per year.Safety classes are conducted by our carrier in which he goes over all the accidents that he has encountered in the past and how to avoid them.This includes fall protection, kettles, asbestos, equipment and a variety of OSHA violations that where given to other companies.
